Why do you have tactics so high? I'd drop that and lower it for more sword damage. You don't need more than a few seconds for Bonneti's, with all those critters hitting you at once.

eh,theirs also a different one,i used this cause hundred blades was to far
1.bonnetis defense
2.cyclone axe
3.healing breeze
4.glad defense/healing hands
5.live vicarously
6.vigorous spirit
7.mending(just because it helps you get theri without going under 200 hp) or balthazars spirit)
8.and this was balthazars aura/zealots fire but aoe screwed it up,so its w/e now
ruffly,my axe was around 9,str 6-8,healing 12,tactics 2,it was around their, and i gained around 24-27 hp per hit with cyclone axe,so it regens my bar,and healing hands was 25 everytime i got it,so thats around 50 hp,but with 25 each hit, tahts enough cause they do around 20-24,if u have atleast a major vigor and a -2 shield...so id just drop healing hands and take shield of judgement or something else...(sorry to post this on yours,i was just to lazy to create another topic, and waste bandwidth)

Is W/mo generally thought of as the best class for farming?
So then, does nearly everyone have a W/mo?

Of course they are, having the most armor (elemental monsters excluded), easily sustainable health, and now a source of AoE in which enemies do not run from. (Glad's Def, Cyclone Axe.)
Also, it should be known that running an axe warrior with Glad's Def and Cyclone axe will out-damage a sword warrior using Hundred Blades. Hundred blades is nice, but not very elite skill-ish.

nah,i dont really like hundred blades, cause its cooldown time is 8 seconds(and its an elite,id rather use gladiators defense)far to much for the griffon run,and riposte was not the main damage in the griffon run, unless your going against a few 5 or less, usually people go over 20...yeah,everone has a w/mo,which i think is pretty useless now, cause farming takes twice as long now, since they nerfed aoe...i just changed my warrior to a w/me,and i changed my skill bar,and im able to solo ring of fire hydras(5+) at once, pretty good

The reason why I have Hundred Blades, is because, it double hits target foe, and all ajacent to that foe. So, if you have Vigorous Spirit and Live Vicariously on, that is 40 HP for every monster! And then you have your adrenaline back, then can use riposte and deadly riposte, then your Bonetti's to keep from damage and gain energy untill your Hundred Blades is recharged. I like replacing Healing Breeze with watch yourself now.
Well, hope that explains why I like this more then Axe.
P.S.: I usually take on like 15-20 at a time.

riposte only works ith a sword equiped, and he dosen't actauly need to hit the griffons to kill them

axe is best for farming griffons...can take 4-5 groups easily and fairly quickly too. By the way...its not noobs who farm griffons...I found 2 near perfect wepons yesterday so why do I want to farm hydras etc when the drops are still good enough for the effort?
STR:11
AXE:12
HEALING:8
TACTICS:11
SMITE:3
PS. you should allways post a screenie of your build in action

If you need to get 40HP per monster farming griffons, you need to ditch the pre-searing armor. Tho I recently switched back to W/E from W/Mo, Here was my tried a true build.
12 tactics (maybe 11)
11 axe
9-11 str depending
no more than 5 healing prayers
7 or 8 smiting prayers
cyclone axe
bonettis defense
Gladiator's defense
Doylak Signet
live vicariously
Strength of honor
sprint
healing signet
With 5 Healing, you can easily get 10 hp/monster (13 if you use a vamp. axe like I did), while should be plently b/c you've got doylak signet on most of the time.
Use sprint to round up the large groups. Even though they start to run away, you can run back to them after you aggro the farthest griffins. (The griffins will keep up with your sprint, while those pesky rockshots will not). So you go from the top of the area down to the bottom, and then back to the middle to re-aggro the first group you aggroed (if I'm making any sense). This way I've managed to get all but one or 2 groups of griffins.
I like strength of honor in this setup b/c your main damage dealer (besides gladiators defense) is Cyclone axe. with SoH, you're cyclone axe does +16 instead of +10 dmg.
Also, it helps to have a shield with -2/-2 dmg reduction... those griffins can't touch you if you have one.
GL
BTW: The one time I timed myself it was 5 min 30 seconds to kill all the griffins (got them in 2 groups)

In my opinion, if your farming Griffs as a W/Mo, the best elite you can take is Shield of Judgement as it kills the rockshots too. That being said, there is nothing wrong with Glad's. But using 100 Hundblades as your elite and the ripostes as your damage is going to result in longer runs than people use Glads or SoJ. Also, the only enchants you need to be running are mending and Live Vicariously. Balth's Spirit is overkill. Bonnett's should give you more than enough energy, even with no tactics.

people use Balthazars for the adrenalin also although yes you are correct its not necessary at all unless your fighting up to 6 mobs that still can be done if you let minotaurs run into you but I very rarely go down below 3/4. Use glads def and forget shield of judgment...you knock em down and they cant attack you when knocked down so it defeats the purpose and your not eating up too many attribute points on smite. Ive tried all farming variations that work and in my opinion the build I post above is not only the most reliable but the quickest too. sprint is only there to get you there quicker and run from any rockshot that might spoil your farming session.
